The enrollment will be open today until Thursday, September 7th. Students may only participate in one sport. Practices will begin on Thursday, September 7th. All sport game calendars can be located on the CESD website.
Please make sure all medical forms and athletic fees ($70.00 – checks payable to CESD) are taken care of or you will be unable to participate, please see the attached checklist. The checks can be dropped off at CEMS main office.

The Cape Elizabeth Girls Basketball Boosters is running a one week summer basketball camp for girls entering grades 5-8. The camp will be held from 9:30 am – 3:00 PM the week of June 26th-June 30th at the CEMS gym. The cost of the camp is $200.00 and a tuition reduction/waiver is available for those who need it.The camp will be run by Varsity Coach Chris Casteralla and some of her Varsity players. Are you a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader? Thinking about playing tackle football? Want to see what a football practice is like? Join the CE Youth Football coaches for a pre-season clinic!
Tuesday, June 20th 6:30 to 7:30 pm Hannaford Turf Field
All current 3rd – 5th graders can attend whether they have already registered for the 2017 season or just want to see what football is about. No equipment needed – just wear shorts and sneakers!
Along with a fun-filled evening of skills and drills, players can choose jersey numbers and be fitted for a helmet for the 2017 season. New players who attend the clinic and want to register for the 2017 season can register without paying late fees!
Cape Elizabeth Soccer Club is hosting Youth Soccer Reffing Classes Would you like to make some money this fall and enjoy a sport you have played for years. CESC will be hosting a new referee side reffing class on Friday June 23 from 9-3:30 at the Community Services Building. We will also be hosting a Center Ref class on Saturday June 24th from 9-3:30 at Community Services Building. You must be 14 to take the classes and have finished your CESC playing time. These classes will allow you to ref U9-U14 games in the fall. The cost is $70 for one class and $115 if you do both. You must take the side ref class before you become a center ref. The HSPA meeting is inviting you to their general meeting on Thursday, May 18 at 8:00am in the HS cafeteria. Jeff Shedd will be there to give an update and several students will present on their Student Driven Learning projects. This is a good opportunity to get a feel for CEHS!
Help support CEHS Project Graduation. Project Graduation aims to keep our high school graduates safe and chemical free as they celebrate this life milestone. The safety of this night is a gift to the graduates. Previous classes have danced abroad Casco Bay Lines, laughed at comedy clubs and played laser tag.

The CEMS Guidance Department is pleased to announce the launch of a new Career Conversation Series at CEMS. If you are willing to engage 7th and 8th grade students in conversations about your career, your career path, and the nature of the work you and those around you do then this opportunity could be for you. All conversations will take place in April and May from 12:55-1:35. Your total time commitment with arrival (12:30) and departure (1:45) will be less than 1.5 hours.
