Hannaford Grocery Card Fundraiser

Hannaford Grocery Card Fundraiser

30 families participated in the HGC program this November, earning $470 for outdoor education programs! You, too, can participate in this easy, no-cost fundraiser!  It’s free and so easy!!  Just send in a check with your filled out form to the MS front office and you will receive a Hannaford grocery card for the full amount of your check.  Hannaford gives the MSPA 5% of every dollar loaded onto your card.  You decide to which grade’s outdoor fund your 5% gets allocated or you may choose to allocate funds to teacher grants. Send in checks by the due dates listed and we will reload your same card each month.  For questions please email Laura Allen at allenlaura207@gmail.com.

See here how your child’s Chewonki fundraising is going. The MSPA has set each class’s goal of reducing tuition by $90 per student but last year’s 6th grade class was able to reduce their tuition by $135 per student!! Excess funds raised/unused move with your child’s class into High School.

CEMS has raised $456.50 with CLYNK in just these first 3 1/2 weeks of October! That is amazing! 1st place continues to go to Mrs. Karlonas’ class with $21.00 in returnables. There is a tie for 2nd between the Lawlor-Rohner / Payne Advisory Team and Mrs. Geikie’s Homeroom as they have both collected $14.40 this month. Team Ramsey / Dana and Mr. Kerr have tied at 3rd with $10.35 being deposited. Mrs. Arbour stays near the top in 4th bringing in $8.35. We have a few teams who aren’t on the board yet this month. Festival of Curiosity Update — Friday, June 2

Festival of Curiosity Update — Friday, June 2

Here’s your ticket to checking out the 2nd Annual CEMS Festival of Curiosity! This event is not open to the public, so parents must volunteer to be involved. Come be a bouncer or a floater or a gatekeeper! Or come and run a STEAM activity! We really need your help, and we promise to make volunteering fun

If you support the Festival and our mission of hands-on learning, please consider making a donation to the school (tax-deductible) by simply dropping off your contribution to the CEMS office (please indicate it’s for the Festival.) While funds are needed (i.e., we are working with a shoestring budget), your donation will also show the school administration that this sort of learning is valued and supported by the parents. The more we raise, the more we can offer the students.

Here are three videos about the Festival:

If you have any questions or concerns,.

CONGRATULATIONS!

CONGRATULATIONS!

The CLYNK Maine Recycles Championship Results are in and Cape Elizabeth Middle School placed #1 in the State of Maine followed by Pond Cove Elementary School who placed #2!  This is an extraordinary accomplishment of not only showing our commitment to raising money for our schools but also our partnership with the environment and recycling.  Both CLYNK and Hannaford will be awarding our schools with additional funds on top of our normal CLYNK revenue.  Thank you to all of you who really stepped it up during this contest period and collected bottles and cans for our schools.  The fee for this years 6th graders headed to Chewonki this week was highly subsidized thanks to your commitment to CLYNK and the Hannaford Gift Card program.  Also the fee for the 8th grade celebration was also able to be waived this year due to our school communities participation in these important programs.  Great job Cape Elizabeth!
